Quarterback Club Officer Elections

The next QBC meeting is on Feb 2, 2010 @ 7PM in the PE Room. Now thru then you can make nominations for officer's positions that lead the boosters in support of our team. Nominate someone that you know will be great for the position, including yourself. Elections for each position will be held at the next meeting. 

In addition to officers positions there are many committee positions that need to be filled. All you have to do is step-up and volunteer for those!

I am very saddened to have to announce that Coach Terry Conley passed away last weekend. He was a tremendous man that dedicated 37 years to coaching many sports at El Dorado. He was respected by his players and knew how to motivate and develop them athletically and personally in their young lives. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, his daughters Angela and Renee and his grandchildren Conley, Mazzen, Edie and Ally. Our hearts and prayers go out to them in this time of sorrow. Coach Conley will be missed by all.

The season has come to an end but the memories will remain and the friendships and experiences will enrich our lives. It has been a great privilege to be part of a great group of players and coaches and the efforts that they all put forth are commendable. For the outgoing seniors we wish you all the best! You will not be forgotten and are forever part of the family. "Hawk Pride" will live in our hearts forever and we will carry-on in our individual journeys with our heads held high, we will be positive role models, and we will do it with class. Underclassmen, it will be your turn to lead and enter into new battles and challenges. Always believe and be positive individually and as a team and you can't go wrong. We will be there cheering you on!
